Chief Nana Dakrabo I - CEO & Founder
HRH Chief Nana Kweku Dakrabo I (Michael B. Pratt) is the Mpuntuhene (Development Chief) of Akonoma in the Asebu Kingdom of Ghana. From Serial Entrepreneur to a Key to the City Recipient to Traditional Ruler, he has been an over-achiever his entire life, winning many awards, records, competitions, and recognitions. He attended the prestigious University of Southern California, where he ran track and graduated Cum Laude from the Business School’s Entrepreneurial Studies program with a Minor in Music. Chief Nana owns several companies, holds many partnerships and board seats internationally, and is currently pursuing his UN Ambassadorship.
Farouk Khailann - Managing Partner
Farouk is the Chief Executive Officer of Premium Africa Holdings, an Africa focused investment holding company that established a presence in UAE consulting Royal Families, individuals, and organizations to facilitate trade and investment between UAE and Africa. He is also Managing Partner for Akon Lighting Africa project, serves as a Strategic Advisor to the Al-Qassimi Royal Family in the UAE, and works with 5 African Presidents on various interventions geared towards the economic transformation of their respective countries. In addition, he is the Vice Chairman of African Institute of Small Scale Mining.
Dr. Jatali Bellanton - Chief Financial Officer
Dr. Jatali is the CEO of Brilliant Minds Unite, which oversees BMU META Cryto Hedge Fund, BMU META Virtual Event Space in the Metaverse, Kidpreneur Book Series, Kids Who Bank Financial Literacy Curriculum, Kidpreneur Awards, and Dolphin's Cove. She is an accredited investor, public speaker, and financial literacy expert. She's been featured in Forbes, Fortune, Financial Times, Black Enterprise, iHeart Radio, Chicago Tribune, and more. With over 20 years of experience in the finance world, she's earned many accolades including being a repeat educator/speaker on the Earn Your Leisure network and creating a youth financial literacy book which is the base to her finance curriculum "Kids Who Bank" (completed in over 300 schools worldwide).
Mario Barrett - Head of Strategic Relationships
Mario is an accomplished singer, entrepreneur, and investor. While pursuing his music career, Mario also developed a passion for entrepreneurship. Mario founded his own record label. He has invested in various businesses, including a chain of high-end cigar lounges and a tech start-up aimed at helping musicians and artists monetize their work. He has also collaborated with fashion brands on clothing lines and has been recognized for his fashion sense on numerous occasions. In addition to his music and entrepreneurial endeavors, Mario is a philanthropist and advocate for social justice.
